Medical Assistance for Bo. Currently on treatment for Covid, TB and pneumonia.

Hello everybody. My name is Bo and i’m 32 years old. I was recently diagnosed with Covid, TB and pneumonia which makes it difficult for me to breathe and move. I am currently bed ridden with tube on my mouth and nose. My mom is already a senior citizen so she can’t stay with me in the hospital and my sister works overseas. I was informed that I will be out of job for almost 6 months, so I’m knocking to all kind hearted people to help me with my finances. I wish to live more. And I hope I this platform can help me extend my life. I’m unable to talk so I do not have a video to share. :( But believe me when I say, I wish to live longer.

Around few months ago, I had an xray result that mentioned possible pneumonia but when i had it checked with the pulmonologist, she said I was okay. I also had myself with a cardiologist since my shortness of breath have been more evident. I couldnt bear cold temperature and I easily get tired. I noticed that I can no longer do the same routine I have previously. I went to see a doctor for a work up and the results scared me.

Since I was living alone, I have to make some arrangement first before I could get myself to the ER. I rushed myself to the ER one night and it started my oxygen struggle. After being positive with Covid + moderate pneumonia, I have been isolated for quite sometime before I manage to get home. My HMO was maxed out too. I have to buy oxygen tanks and store them at home to make sure I get to sleep during evenings and work during mornings.

I was consuming more medical oxygen than I anticipated and I’m now starting to get broke. I bought a portable oxygen concentrator to help me out but i’m still not reqching the desired oxygen level. I can no longer get myself to pee alone or leave my room with anyone assisting me. Worst part is, pain has become unbearable that I could no longer work (from home).

We reached out to one public hospital to the other to see if they would be able to accommodate me. Commuting from one clinic to the other. It was so terrible. With no assurance that we’ll be taken in. Until we arrived in San Lazaro Hospital.

Mother (62) was forced to sign a waiver since she’s past the age limit to be with me inside the hospital. She passed covid test. I failed again. Positive for the 2nd time. And when they checked my other vitals, it was so bad. Few days later, I was intubated. Food and medicine was given to me via NGT and because of that, mom is no longer getting food from the hospital. No one is available to replace mother. She is no longer fit to be here. My sister also can’t afford a flight going home at this moment.

So I am knocking into everyone’s kind heart to help me fund a caregiver for the time being and help me finance my daily needs here in the hospital.
