The documentary A new Economy was presented at Windsor International Film Festival in November. Different screenings will be organized in Montreal and Switzerland. The film is distributed collaboratively, you may also host a screening.
In France, we presented a project to host game jams about Cystic Fibrosis to Federation Hospitalière de France. We are in the finalists and will receive the answer in a few weeks.
In Switzerland, we started to organize the next game jam, which will take place in Geneva during the Lift:Labs.
We also applied to a Google Foundation grant and to a Canadian Institutes of Health Research grant to further develop the commons. These funds will enable to develop the infrastructure inculding a distributed database, to host co-creation events, keynotes with international speakers, and to mobilize a community of contributors to ensure we have interesting educational and therapeutic games, and qualitative guidelines that enable everyone and everywhere to use and adapt our free/libre technologies.
A new Economy, a 85-minute documentary starring Breathing Games and six other initiatives was released in September.
In the last months, we also took part to different events incuding the ACFAS congress, the European Cystic Fibrosis Society conference, the World Social Forum, and the International Symposium on Open Collaboration. Our initative also became a signatory of the United Nations GlobalCompact, and a member of the Open Source Initiative. More about these on our timeline.
