Breaking The Chains Agains Domestic Violence

Hi, My name is Ericka Sanders and I am a Domestic Violence Survivor. However my abuser is still at large. The Duval county state attorneys office ran by State Attorney Angela Corey has done nothing to help me. They closed my case without my knowledge because they had the incorrect date of birth for my abuser( who is also my husband). This man beat me in front of my child and then took my car and they told me I could not report my car stolen because we are legally married yet they would not take his date of birth from me to issue him a warrant to get him locked up. I am starting my own organization called Breaking The Chains. My ultimate goal is to open a safe haven where women and children can go to while they are going through and trying to get out of an abusive relationships. I woudnt have had anywhere to go if it wasnt for my godparents but a shelter. And the sound of a shelter just didnt sound like a place i would want to take my 3 year old daughter to. I also want to change the laws behind domestic violence. There is no reason whatsoever with the damage and evidence the state attorneys office have against him that he should not have an active warrant for his arrest. Its been almost two months and they say the only way to get the warrant issued is to have the police correct the report. I have been unsuccessful with contating the officer. I want to save lives. My daughter has been forever damaged by this emotinally. It hurts my heart to see her go throuh this. He has theathened to kill me if I continue efforts to get him locked up, he has stalked me and followed me from work so I had to quit my job. But I will keep fighting until the end. Please help my foundation get established. Lets Break The Chains of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse together!
