Al-Shuja'an "The Braves" is a non-profit registered organization that was established in 2007 by a group of activists from Nazareth and the vicinity. The organization's main founder, a 26 years old young man with Juvenile Diabetes, took this initiative aiming to answer the unmet needs of Juvenile Diabetics and their families in the Palestinian society in Israel.
So far, the organization has operated in Nazareth and the vicinity. However, it has planned for reaching further Arab localities in order to support the largest number of Juvenile Diabetics and their families.
Last year, we initiated a summer camp that succeeded to large extent where we find ourselves obliged this current year to accept the 120 organization's enthusiastic members who insist to join the camp this year.
The camp we are about to initiate will have a variety of activities and themes such as :
* Trips Day
* Sports Day
* Day at the museum
* Lectures and Workshops on Diabetes
* Arts Day
* Staying one day in nature
For the sake of insuring the safety of all the participants, ambulances, nurses, armed guards, all kind of certificates needed are to be well prepared. We would be very grateful once you agreed to help us to finance our humanitarian project.
Our Vision
Palestinian Juvenile Diabetics, citizens of Israel enjoy services that are adapted to their medical and social needs, and they are equally integrated in all life spheres.
In our area of living, such projects seldom exist. Again, we would be very thankful to have your help
