Brave Nathaniel Fights Leukemia

At the age of 4,our brave and sweet Nathaniel has been diagnosed of AML(Acute Myeloid Leukemia), a rare type of cancer for children. It all started with unexplained signs and symptoms like on and off fever, bleeding out from the nose and gums, sudden weight loss and bruises all over his body. Alarmed by these, we get him tested and to our surprise we found out that his platelet dropped to 6 (NORMAL 150-400) that means he could bleed to death if not treated immediately. This incident opted us to get him admitted in the hospital twice a month wherein he receives two bags of platelets, corticosteroid medications and never ending lab works. He has undergone procedures such as bone marrow aspiration and biopsy that confirms AML.

Your simple act of kindness will greatly help this brave heart to survive this. By following strict compliance to treatment and medication like chemotherapy and/or bone marrow transplant, we see hope and strength to fight this disease. Although doctors have declared that his survival is a long shot, we are not losing hope because miracles do happen everyday. For Nath, he is just asking for one miracle, and this one miracle will let him witness all the beautiful things in life has to offer. Even though, many of us are still affected by the aftermath of the pandemic, we are still hopeful that you have some to spare.
