Brain Tumor Surgery | Radiation Therapy | Medical Bills Funding

It was late September 2020 when my sister-in-law, Arlin P. Beri, and brother Wilson S. Beri found out via MRI and CT Scan that my sister has a complicated huge Brain Tumor. It’s a complicated case because the Tumor is clasped on the Brain nerves affecting my sister-in-law’s hearing, seeing, and balance. It is a 5-year-old tumor not knowing if it will be removed completely.

The doctor said it needs urgent operation since risks are already presenting bad symptoms and to avoid further damage.

October 2020 - Finalized all tests. An additional test was needed like a Swab test and more test for my brother too since he will be the one to accompany her wife to the hospital. For all the tests, and PPE used, the bill is already running high.

November 4, 2020 - Craniotomy was performed but doctors were not able to remove all the tumor mass because it is clamped to the brain vessel. The doctor said that she needs to undergo Radiation Therapy to stop or slow the growth of the tumor, a minimum of 80 sessions, else she needs to undergo Craniotomy again.

My family was able to come up with funds to cover some expenses but additional medical assistance is needed to complete medical bills and radiation therapy.

Today we are knocking on your kind hearts and seeking medical assistance. Bill is growing every day.

My brother has no job due to the pandemic and lost all their savings already. My brother is an OFW and may take time before he could go back on track. And if he is, he will give back, because they have a good heart. My sister-in-law is a fighter, she cannot speak as of the moment but through her actions and her eyes speaking, she would want to go home as soon as possible to take care of her children.
