"It is more blessed to give than to receive". It is a bible verse that me and my family follow and apply in our daily life. We have been generous to any stranger so as a rule in our family giving is an automatic thing to us. I have never imagined writing this letter to tug into your hearts to share whatever you can towards my brother's cranial surgery and rehabilitation. My brother is an OFW who came home last January 2021 due to bells palsy from October 2020. We thought it was just that but we did CT scan that shows that he had a tumor in his brain but later was asked to do MRI. The MRI result is a heartbreaker because the tumor is bigger than what the CT scan showed, the tumor is 5 x 3.6 x 4.8cm which presses different network of nerves which hinder speech, vision, balance, motor skills, and consciousness.
We are in urgency to raise 900k just for the surgery excluding rehabilitation after surgery. Each day we stall the tumor grows bigger not knowing if its benign or cancerous. We are seeking for people whose generous heart can share their hard earned donation to save my brother. He is only 34 years old and single who can make a difference in the field of music and culinary if He surpass this health challenge. He is our breadwinner who support the family especially my Mom who have been sick since 2013. At the moment we are doing our best to provide him a superfood that is designed to boost the immune system so it will produce enough natural killer cells to hamper the growth of the tumor while we are raising the said amount.
When you give cheerfully you are saving a life and you are more blessed because you shared.
