Campaign Story
My wife has a tumor in her brain. They are in the process of finding out what kind of tumor it is, but they believe it is cancer. They've done the CT body scan. On the 19th of October 2018 they are going to do an MRI scan of her brain. Then, they will be a brain biopsy to determine whether it's cancer or benign. The tumor is quite large. slightly bigger than a walnut, and either way, whether it's benign or cancer, they are going to have to remove it from her brain because it's causing too many problems. It's affecting her eye sight (she's gone blind), her speech, and she can't even keep food down anymore.
Up until a couple months ago, she had medical insurance, but when she had to resign from her job as a lecturer at university, she lost her medical coverage. Therefore, we need to get as much money together to cover these first procedures, to cover the MRI and the biopsy.
My wife is 58 years old. She has worked hard all her life. She has been a fantastic wife and my best friend for over 23 years.

Coming Home
Update posted by Abdul Rahim Rodgers at 10:58 amA couple of days ago, the hospital informed me that they intended to send Zainon to either HKL or Hospital Ampang. Today, however, I was informed that the doctors at Ampang, after looking at her MRIs and biopsy, decided that the cancer had spread too far in her brain and. . . . .
Moving to different hospital soon.

Tumor Surgery

The doctors could not remove the whole tumor because they could not tell where the tumor ended and the brain began.
