Brain Surgery for my father

Hello Everyone,

I am Rachelle Ecal De Dios, the eldest daughter of Martin Ecal. We are currently residing in Pagbilao Quezon Province, Philippines. My father’s name (patient) is Martin Ecal, a 55 years old, male. His current work is a Foreman of a small construction firm in quezon province. To described my father, he is a jolly person and a very generous person, as long as he can help others he will do it. He will do everything for us no matter what.Unfortunately and unexpectedly, last November 13,2021 around 3:00pm in the afternoon, my father was rush to the hospital due to large intracerebral hemorrhage (86.5ml) in the left frontotemporoparietal lobes hematoma with intraventricular extension and perilesional edem due to uncontrolled blood pressure. Currently, he is now in the private room and the prognosis of the doctor depends on the following parameters:

1. Brain surgery- evacuation of the large hemorrhage

2. Control the blood pressure

3. Control of the co-morbidities

4. Treatment of other disease brought about by immobility such as pneumonia

5. Rehabilitation- physical treatment

We are currently scrambling to pool as much funds as we can from our families, friends and relatives since the entire event happened at an unexpected time and we are unprepared, both emotionally and financially. No words can express how hard and devastating this to us especially now we are in the midst of pandemic.

While writing this story, I can’t help myself but to cry. I am the eldest daughter and as of now I am the only one who has work. This is a really the hardest and trying time for the whole family and we are appealing to your kind soul and heart to help us by sharing any amount that you can. We are estimating the expenses around 2 million pesos at the very least not including the after treatment. My entire family wishes to thank you all for stop by and read.
