Campaign Story
My cousin, Ate Joan, a mother of one baby girl, was involved in a car accident last April 10, 2022.
Due to the said accident, she sustained head and facial injury. For her facial injury, stainless steel was used to reconstruct her broken facial bones. This surgery came with a hefty price tag. On the other hand, for her head injury, a blood clot formed in her brain which, we thought, will be dissolved by drinking medicine. However, it was recently found out that she has already developed Hydrocephalus, a condition which is fatal if left untreated.
Her latest diagnosis needs treatment (Brain Shunt) as soon as possible to avoid greater danger. It already affects her mentally, making her like she is a different person. Getting a shunt will help her recover and watch her young daughter grow.
This surgery costs P150,000.00-P200,000.00 as per her doctor from Veterans Regional Hospital. Collected funds will also be used for other bills such as hospital bills and medicines.
Thank you so much for your support. May God bless you more!
