Campaign Story
Lourdes and Carlos are working class tenants being threatened with eviction by their landlord for paying the 6th day of the month. The landlord has been looking for any reason to evict them to be able to rent out the place for twice the amount of rent currently being paid!
Carlos was recently in the hospital due to a leg injury and his wife is currently pregnant with their child. On top of this they have many medical and household bills.
As of this week, Carlos had been harassed by the police and his car has been towed due to expired tags. This is just another expense on top of the other bills. Please donate whatever you can to help alleviate the costs!
