The main strategy is to run the business by the founders in the first 3 months. This was decided upon using a decision matrix in Appendices 7-9 using four criteria and two options. Strategic Partnership was initially considered as an option in the decision matrix and Ownership/Control as additional criteria in the Sensitivity Analysis. Both were later excluded since it is widely known that Strategic Partnership never works in the daily deal industry or market. What is common between a startup and an incumbent is acquisition .
