Hi everyone! This is pretty last minute but I have decided to try and raise some money for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing and I would love if you could help me reach my goals!
On May 9th I will be challenging myself by hiking 3,165 feet to the top of Mount Monadnock in New Hampshire to honour all of those who were killed or injured in the tragic events on April 15th. All money raised will go straight towards paying for medical expenses of those affected by the blasts. No amount is too small and I would greatly appreciate anything you can spare!!
So many brave individuals jumped to action on that day in order to help the injured, and while I sat feeling helpless in my apartment in Toronto I began to wonder what I could do to help. While I couldn't be there when disaster struck my beautiful city, I hope to contribute to the cause as friends and family of Boston try to move forward.
As small as this act may be, the climb will represent a physical, emotional, and mental challenge that I know I can accomplish in honour of all the victims. Pictures will be taken at the top to prove that I did it!! ;) Boston Strong!
