The British Online Sim Racing Association was formed in 2015 for members of the iRacing service. We offer a variety of internal events each year and our racing team also participate in iRacing events such as the GT3 series. Based in the UK, we welcome new members from across Europe to participate in our exciting events, please feel free to browse our website here.
After much hard work during the first half of the year we are now at the stage where we have 3 substantial teams in place. Our partners include Bodin Solutuions, Motorsport Auctions and The Fire-Fighters Charity.
We are also very close to completing our membership with The Motor Sports Association (MSA). The MSA is the sole national governing body for four-wheel motor sport in the UK, as recognised by the world governing body, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The MSA organise events such as the British Touring Car Championship and British GT Championship. With MSA backing comes a host of new possibilities and challenges, it promotes the league in a positive manner and reinforces the reputation of the league as a respectable, serious platform. The other main benefit of joining the MSA will be that BOSRA will be the first and only iRacing based league approved by the MSA and overall only the second sim based club to ever gain MSA recognition.
Our ultimate aim is to be featured on Motors TV as part of their coverage of Sim Racing events, be regarded as the best UK&I based league for iRacing and to expand without over committing our admin team. Our Youtube Channel, BOSRA TV is constantly being updated with new coverage of races via live streams, weekly race highlight videos and more will be added as our hardware capabilities grow.
In order for the admin team to continue our hard work we need to update our current hardware to make full use of programs such as Sony Vegas and Photoshop to create more engaging content and longer videos. This will be even more important as we look to host endurance races to raise money for the Fire-Fighters Charity and with your support we can reach our goal. This would also allow more efficient streaming and production of video/graphic content to bring more subscribers to our Youtube Channel. We started a donation fund but progress is slow as our members already have costs to meet to fund their iRacing careers and league races.
We hope that you will assist our league and we thank you for taking the time to visit our project.
