Born to Fly

There is a boy and we will call him Baby Maverick...his favourite movie is Top Gun (the nickname makes sense now???) He is 25....and since the age of 3 he has known that he wanted to be a pilot. There is no Plan B for Baby Maverick. He lives, breathes and dreams of flying...above all else.

As an only child in a middle income family he and his family has worked tirelessly over the last 5 years to help him work towards his dream. This struggle has been fraught with set backs, problems and financial stress. Yet he has never given up, even when people tell him that it’s the sensible thing to do.

His hard working parents have done all they can financially to support his dream but after falling on hard times a few years ago they cannot do much more to help and he has been trying so hard to carry on towards his goal however he can.

He is so close but still too far! He needs money to complete his training and his flying at an incredible flight school in Florida but as a South African the money is just not possible for Baby Maverick and his family.

Please...help him achieve his biggest dream! To one day be a commercial pilot and safely flying passengers (like you and me) to our destinations...
