Boothtown and Claremount Road Safety Campaign

Dear All,

We are trying to raise as much money as possible to help with the backing of the campaign and raise money for speed cameras.

The money raised will help with the following -

1) Costs of implementing speed cameras

Each speed camera costs anything upto £20,000 at the moment the local council are still refusing to cover these costs to implement speed cameras due to ''budgets'' We are trying to raise as much money as possible to put towards these costs. I know we should not have to, however due to statistics and figures money is the councils priority. It will help speed up the campaign and support us in everything we do.

2) Costs of next road campaign -

t shirt printing, signage, posters, banners etc

3) Contributions to BRAKE the road safety charity who work voluntary to support our campaign

To reiterate we know we should not have to pay for speed cameras, however if we show we are willing to do as much as we can to prevent accidents/fatalities we have more chance in succeeding.
