Book & Tech Project for El Salvador:
Greetings! A few years ago, I volunteered in poor, rural areas to raise awareness and know-how on sustainable, environmental practices. A visit in 2010 proved the efforts worthwhile; the communities had gained a greater appreciation for recycling, proper waste disposal, and organic farming methods. Yay!
On Oct 25, I will be returning to visit, and I'd like to offer more educational opportunities. Please help!
Money for this project will provide rural schools with environmental coloring books for a new generation of children, and if enough money is raised, a laptop and router to the school in the community where I lived, which lacks funding for technological advancement.
