Motiram & Sawaswati Secondary schools are two semi-government schools in nearby remote villages in eastern Nepal. The schools have around 200-400 students each.

Recently both schools have opened up library however, there are very few books and they are mostly curriculum related only as the schools do not have funds for such "luxury".

I am a strong believer that instilling the habit of reading can change the future for students who can hardly afford to buy books for their curriculum. And the change is possible when there are various books for students which can attract their attention.

If you are a kind soul who believes money for a cup of Starbucks coffee can help to see the world for hundreds (as books can be shared). Please donate to this cause.

I am a former students of the schools where I did primary and secondary studies. I used to to walk for 1.5 hours to reach schools, some of my friends used to walk 3 hours as there was no road (there still isn't any paved road).

Currently, I am working abroad and I am planning to go back in March 2020. I will be donating a some amount myself, but your contribution will really mean a lot as many books are needed to purchase.
