Returning to school has been an adventure! Last semester was the beginning of my Biochemistry program, and I ended with a 4.0 GPA. I chose to return to school because the job prospects were non-existent after I was laid off from my last job, and I need to provide for my seven year old son.
As a single mother, setting an example for my child is the most important thing I will achieve in this life. I feel I have begun to do that by showing him how important education is, and how much is possible when you work hard for it. I'm returning for my second semester in August, and have applied for all the financial aid I can find. I have managed to get my classes paid for, and have a modest allowance for living expenses, but books are incredibly expensive. I need the following for my next semester of classes:
Campbell Biology, V9 (Reece)

TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator
Algebra and Trigonometry: Graphs and Models / Edition 5
My sincerest dream is to complete my degree and begin a satisfying career that will allow my son and I to move out of my mother's basement, and get back on our feet with our heads held high, and bright horizons in our futures. Thank you for reading, and for your thoughts of us.
