LGBTA CHILD COPING BOOK, research

Hello, I am raising funds for the research and creation of a book that myself and associates plan to create. With the recent acquisition of our adopted son and daughter, we soon realized that we were faced with something we didn't know much about. That topic is understanding, accepting, and explaining the awareness of realizing a young child is feeling different and ultimately will be part of the LGBTA community. Please forgive me if I am not politically correct or insensitive as I am new to this also. The purpose of this research and book, or possibly even a series of books, is to have age specific and appropriate educational material for a young child, up to pre-teen, to help understand and cope with what they are feeling, how to talk about it, where to turn for help, etc. my child I'm speaking of just turned 9, and he is visibly and emotionally confused, sometimes withdrawn, and it is hard for all involved to help understand each other, or even give advice. We will accept him no matter what, but we want him to feel comfortable, and thrive regardless of his orientation. These years are tough enough without the stigma, hate, and bullying that attaches itself to this topic. Not only are we gearing an age appropriate book for children, but we are also looking to create a second book, possibly as a set, for the education and help a parent or grandparent may need also. We've searched tirelessly for something like this, but ultimately could not find anything close to suit our needs. Please help us create something that will in return give back to everyone who can use this help. Also, we plan on donating one third of all proceeds of this book(s) back into charities associated with these topics. Thank You Kindly!
