Riding a bicycle 290km from Amsterdam to Bonn. It could be the commute from hell, but, for a group of intrepid cyclists, it’s an epic adventure.
Bicycle power makes humans the most efficient animals on the planet. However, today, we have become far too addicted to guzzling fossil fuels and disconnected from the beautiful planet we call home.
We all know the devastating impact that fossil companies have had on the health of the world, reversing decades of action against climate change. That is why it’s time for our social institutions to take a stand against fossil fuels.
Pedaling all the way from Amsterdam to Cop23 - the place where policymakers and climate technology innovators meet – this group of dirtbag cyclists aim to shine a (solar powered) light on the topic. And, on the way, they hope to raise some well-deserved cash for fossilvrij.nl, a group that fights passionately for cleaner alternatives to fossil fuels.
