Bone Marrow Transplant for Veteran
Fundraising campaign by

US$600.00raised of $43,462.00 goal goal
Ken is a veteran. He also has been a volunteer soccer coach for over 20 years. He has his referee license and is happy to fill in whenever needed.
In January 2013 he was finally diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer. The cancer had already affected his bones and he underwent 2 kyploplasty surgeries to fill 7 vertebrae in his lower back. In August of 2013 he left for 3 months to have a bone marrow transplant or better known now as a stem cell transplant. So far it has been successful.
Ken has not worked since January of 2013 and will not be able to attempt to work until this fall. Ken also had a heart surgery in 2008 and a hip replacement surgery in 2010. He was not able to work for a long period of time after those surgeries and all savings accounts were depleted.
With all the medical expenses and debt each month it is difficult to survive. He wants to pay the debt off rather than file a medical bankruptcy. That is why we are asking for your help. ANY amount of donation will be 1 step closer to paying all the money owed.
Thank you for your time and consideration of this request.
