Greetings to all

I know all of us have a different life stories and challenges to tell, let me share mine with you.

I’m Honeylyn, 26 y.o with two beautiful daughters aged 7 and 5 y.o respectively, when God blessed me and my husband with our eldest daughter, we promised that we will give her everything that we never experience during our childhood, like sumptuous “snacks” that she can bring to school. I remember when I was still in High School I consider myself lucky if I can eat breakfast before going to school, that is why when my children started attending school I work hard and longer hours just to make sure we can provide them all their needs even sometimes I leave the house they are still sleeping and going home that they are already asleep. I decided to resign from my previous company and started a small business with my husband to spend more time with my kids.

Our business became smooth and it is growing day by day but last March 2018 my life turned around 360 degrees. I was diagnosed with Leukemia and not just a mild leukemia, I’m diagnosed with Acute Myloide Leukemia (AML). I don’t know what to feel when the doctor confronted me and my husband about my condition I cried asking the doctor how did I get this type of Leukemia, but I never questioned our Lord why me?

As we stepped out of the clinic, I wiped away my tears and make myself believed that I can faced and conquer this new challenge.

My kids are still very young, I still have a lot to do for my two daughters, I want to see them mature, to guide them and to take care of them. I told Lord God that my whole family will serve his church.

As I continue to fight against this battle, I undergone several treatments for weeks at first we’re so afraid, Family members bought numerous kinds of herbal medicines that might help making me cure, unfortunately the type of leukaemia that I have doesn’t react to any herbal medicines.

This month of June 2018, my husband and I finally decided to try Chemotheraphy, I went Induction Chemo using Doxorubicin and Cytharabine Chemo it lasted until last week of June because there is no improvement in my platelet count my doctor scheduled me for hospital discharged but he also has a bad news according to him the chemotherapy treatment refractory failed and if ever I need to do reinduction, another set of chemo meds this time higher in dosage for 1 month. Disappointed with the result my family decided to transfer to a private hospital to seek 2nd opinion, I stayed for another 1 month repeating the chemotherapy using idarubcin and cytharabbine 7+3, our doctor advised us that there is only 40% chance that my body will response to the chemotherapy, we need to prepare 2 to 3 Million Pesos for possible Bone Marrow Transplant.

As a mother I’m frightened for my two young kids to lose a family member at their age, being in this situation is very hard for me ‘coz 2 years ago I also lost my mother with a different type blood disease which is called Aplastic Anemia. Losing a mother is very difficult, the way of caring, and the feeling when you can share your problems and success to your mother is very different.

and here I’am wanting to fight leukaemia because I want to live longer not just for myself but for my two young and innocent daughters at ofcourse for my entire family that depends on me.

Hoping that you could help me fight this leukemia battle in any form possible, it can be thru financial donation big or small we also have tshirt for a cause worth 350/pc it can go a long way to reach our target of 2 to 3 Million.

Also, seeking for your prayers for the journey me and my family is experiencing, and for a fast recovery, I know Lord God will never leave me alone.

To all those people who are willing to extend their helping hand for my Bone Marrow Transplant, you may send your donations in our bank account at
