Hi Everyone
I was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in the middle of 2022 at an advanced stage already. I have had many radiation and chemo therapies but did not stop or limit the cancer. I am currently in the Hospice home program for my final stage with 3 weekly visits from them.
I have +-7 months with almost no hope left. My only hope is a bone marrow transplant that can only happen in Los Angeles USA at the

as there is a suitable donor available. No donors in South Africa. None of my family are suitable donors for me so I have been placed on a waiting list that is almost 7 years long.
If I am able to raise at least half the goal I can book and secure my place with the doctors.
Cost will be around +- R250k and this amount is just for the transplant alone. Not the air fairs or medical visa or further treatments in South Africa like the chemo pills etc.
This tariff is a special price for war veterans under the USA act that doesn't exclude other countries..
So it looks like my life is still limited to +- 7months.
I cannot afford this treatment unfortunately.
Bone marrow transplant (BMT) is a special therapy for patients with certain cancers or other diseases.
A bone marrow transplant involves taking cells that are normally found in the bone marrow (stem cells),
filtering those cells, and giving them back either to the donor (patient) or to another person.
A bone marrow transplant may be used to: Safely allow treatment with high doses of chemotherapy or
radiation by replacing or rescuing the bone marrow damaged by the treatment. Replace bone marrow that's
not working properly with new stem cells. Provide new stem cells, which can help kill cancer cells directly.
Cost of a Bone Marrow Transplant $15 000 (R254 700) operation alone.
Success rate +-65% with unrelated donors

Good morning everyone.Update.I have reached the halfway mark in my campaign for a bone marrow transplant and was therefor able to secure my donor. a Temporary date has been set for the 21/03/2022.I want to thank everyone for their commitment and donations and also the loads of prayers. Good day everyone.***Another Update on my health***The last week was one of the worst times so far. Except for the low blood count, raspatory complications and high inflammation in my stump, I once again are home.The draining of the buildup liquid in my stump is done but still left a. . . . .

Good day everyone.***Update on my health***The bone marrow cancer is raiding my body and is causing havoc on certain parts of my body, especially my 1987 imputation. There is a lot of liquid build up in my stump that needed to be drained to reduce swelling and inflammation.Once again I. . . . .
