Bond paper mo, Module ko

A classroom provides a space where learning can take place uninterrupted by outside distractions. Classrooms are indispensable to modern society and it is where the future of our world is built and shaped. There has been a gradual shift and evolution in materials of teaching and as well as methods of teaching in order to keep pace with the changing times, the changing world and our changing perspectives.

In order to give the younger generation a chance, your help is needed. In support of the new normal form of studies Alternative Distance Learning (ADL) in the Philippines, we are knocking on your generous hearts. While schools have allotted budget for the shift to distance learning, filed under school maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE), teachers say that this budget can easily be depleted due to the massive number of learning modules that need to be printed.

Hoping to bridge this gap, schools and teachers mounted an online campaign named "Bond Paper Mo, Module Ko" which seeks to bring in donations to help their respective schools have funds for printing students' learning modules such paper, ink, stapler and binding.

With up to 9 subjects per year group(grade), a total of 6 year groups or grade and a total of roughly 500 students per school; heir allocated budget does not even start to cover the first week of the term. Just on the first week of the term, a total of 105 reams of bond paper was used. This is roughly 27,000 pesos or equivalent to $900 NZ dollars. As of October 8, 2020, a total of 6 reams of bond paper has been donated which was already used.

We are only asking for what ever your heart can give. All the proceeds will be used to further the children's education. The smallest change can have the biggest impact in their lives.
