Campaign Story
This is a fundraising campaign for my friend, Bon Rhyan https://www.facebook.com/bonrhyan27, who is fighting against Stage 4 Colon Cancer. He is 24 years old from Surigao, Philippines. He already started his treatment last March 2018 at Southern Philippines Medical Center (Davao City) and right now, he was advised to go to a 23-day non-stop radiation therapy which will cost him about Php 210,000.00 ($ 4,200.00) on top of his chemotherapy session.
Radiotherapy is not covered by PhilHealth and he has no idea what agency to go to for help or how to pool the fund needed for this treatment.
It is now a great challenge for him to raise money on his own. He was left alone by his father who died few years ago. He is also separated from his brother and mother. It is only his cousin who is giving him moral support and assistance in going to hospital every time he needs to be treated and confined. You know a fighter when you see one. He's been battling this sickness bravely and gracefully, and we all wanted to see him back on his feet again.
We already started collecting funds from our college circle and classmates but those were not enough. The amount above is such a challenge, that's why we decided to make a virtual fundraising platform to raise funds faster and easier.
We deeply want to help Bon especially in this very difficult time of his life. His positive mindset, skillful attitude and artistry deserve to be experienced more. He is a person who greatly deserve our small, but meaningful help.

We already deposited Php 51,000.00 as part of the July 15 donation cut-off last July 18,2018. There is still Php 3,500.00 waiting for deposit as of August 1, 2018 (today).. . . . .
