Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive

I was home schooled growing up. My interests of what I wanted to do for a living has shifted quite a lot over the years from juggling, mountain uni-cycling, mountain biking,  rock climbing, photography, chemistry, etc. My field of interest kept sliding on to something new and just when I thought that I would never settle on one thing, that's when I discovered classical ballet. I was fourteen at the time and it was pure curiosity that pushed me into my first ballet class. I began my ballet training in September of 2010 and I immediately had an intense interest in the classical ballet. I never found anything before or since that I enjoyed doing so much. I cannot seem to portray the love I have for the classical dance. Especially considering the fact that I'm writing all of this down at a quarter to 1:00 a.m. I remember driving home from the first ballet class and sitting in the passenger seat of the car telling my Mom, "you know...I think I found what I want to do with my life. For real this time." Of course she didn't believe me because that was exactly the same thing that I said when I was nine years old when I told her that I wanted to be a professional juggler and acrobat. And then again when I said that all I would ever do was rock climb. And again when all I wanted to do was fly air planes. Ever since that day that I said that to her, classical ballet has been the main (if not the ONLY) thing on my mind. No matter what I do, it won't leave my thoughts. Although I don't believe that I want it to leave my thoughts either. Most nights I will go to sleep at one, two, or sometimes three in in the morning thinking about it. I just lay there in my bed with my eyes open staring at the ceiling. 
I am a very fortunate individual and anything that I actually HAVE accomplished in my life (which isn't much), I accomplished because of the people I grew up with. I feel extremely fortunate for the things I have and there's no way I would get anywhere in this life if it weren't for my teachers. 

Now, I have an opportunity to attend the world renowned Bolshoi Ballet Academy 2013 summer intensive in NYC and potentially Moscow, Russia. Unfortunately I simply cannot afford the tuition and expenses for this incredible opportunity.
