Hughes Schools of the Performing Arts
The lungs of the WORLD are on fire.
The Bolivian Amazon rainforest has been burning for three weeks now, and no international help has been received.
Today, it is with great responsibility that Hughes Schools in Cochabamba, Bolivia is seeking for the worlds help to stop this tragic event. We need YOUR help from WHEREVER you may be in order to help animals, people affected by this fire and volunteers who are doing everything they can to stop this devastating reality.
Once we reach our goal, Hughes Schools will proceed to buy:
Canned goods, Water, Artificial Tears, Eye Drops, Anti-allergy Pills, Creams, Bandages, Leather Gloves, Fire Extinguishers, Backpack Pumps, Fine tip Forest Blades, Machetes, Helmets, B-complex Vitamins, Vitamin C, Chinstraps, Portable Nebulizer, and many other crucial Items to then team up with Ecojet (a prestigious Airline Company in Bolivia) and have these items shipped and delivered to those who are living this hell
CNN states that "the Amazon is often referred to as the planet's lungs, producing 20% of the oxygen in the Earth's atmosphere. It is considered vital in slowing global warming, and it is home to uncountable species of fauna and flora. Roughly half the size of the United States, it is the largest rainforest on the planet." Today, more than 640 million acres have been lost during this fire.
The world would drastically change if the rainforest were to disappear, impacting everything from farming to the water we drink as stated by CNET.
It is time to come together and #HelpOurPlanet!
