Hi!

I am Mommy Rona Bodegas from South Cotabato, Philippines. I made this fundraising campaign for my 29 weeker preemie twins hospitalization fees. They are currently in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 25 days already as of today, July 6.

My twins are very precious to us because my husband and I waited for a long time for this moment to come. However, delivering them at only 29 weeks was a heartbreaking experience.

Last June 10, I woke up with contractions and a very painful lower abdomen. My OB gyne tried to prevent my preterm labor but on the morning of June 11, my cervix was at 5cm dilated already. There was no other choice but to deliver my twins via an emergency Csection.

Thankfully, my babies, both girls - Rania (born weight: 1kg) and Janea (born weight: 1.2kg) were safely delivered although at a high cost of almost PhP 100,000 or $2,000 which exhausted our savings.

They are recovering well and we are praying for a healthy weight gain before they can safely come home.

Their hospital bill currently is at almost PhP350,000 or $7,000 for only 25 days and that's without the doctor's fee yet. It's continuously increasing everyday. We know that this would take a huge toll with regards to our financial capacity. And because of the Covid19 situation, we have limited resources.
