Bobo Snax – The original Malawian snack

BoBo Snax is a new food product which is an alternative to crisps. It is not being produced by anyone in Malawi or in Southern Africa.

It started out as a snack made at home and was soon introduced at our bakery and supermarket where it was simply being sold in a clear plastic tied with a knot. this proved to be a very successful product with the locals in both taste and price.

we are now looking to expand production and introduce a new flavour, which we have already tested on the market and was taken to instantly.

we have also come up with an attractive packaging solution which will enhance the brand name and help us distribute the product to wholesalers and retailers.

our main obstacles are the space in which we operate and the fact that the machinery is also used to make other products for the bakery hence capping our productivity and the cost of the packaging which is proving to be quite high.
