Hello! My beloved Addison fell 25 feet onto concrete and has a long road ahead of her.

About Addison:
Bob brothers is an almost 4 year old Blue Heeler from Austin, Texas. She's a very active friend who's always up for an adventure. Her fetch game is on point! She'll catch anything. She's a kind, loving companion who puts a smile on the face of all who meet her.

What happened:
A freak accident. We headed to Port Aransas, TX for a weekend to camp
on the beach. Bob brothers and I had climbed an access ramp leading up to the front office of a campground. The ramp was made of concrete and disrupted her line of sight as she made her way to the top. Unaware of how high she had climbed, she got curious and hopped over the wall of the ramp and fell 25 feet onto a sidewalk. It was terrifying. I took her to an emergency vet clinic immediately. She broke both her arms and got a little scrape on her chin.

What needs to happen going foward:
In order for her to heal properly and avoid permanent complications, Bob brothers needs a surgical procedure called "Arthrodesis" on both wrists in her front legs as soon as possible. From how I understand it, they go in and reattach her wrists to her arm, and fuse her joints back together. After 6-10 weeks and a little rehab, she should be able to resume normal activities!

The procedure costs about $3000 per leg.

Addison has her whole life ahead of her and I want to do everything I can to make sure she gets what she needs to move past this accident and move foward. If you have a few dollars to spare to contribute towards these procedures that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your consideration!
