Blyth Academy U16 and U18 PREP Hockey Clubs will be traveling to Berlin and Prague March 10-17, 2015. During this trip these athletes will compete in hockey games and take part in educational tours. Tours include; tour of Berlin, War Memorial, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Hitler's Bunker Site, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, tour of Prague, and tour to Krivoclat. The goal of the European tour is to provide a once and lifetime opportunity for our athletes to play hockey in Europe, touch a major part of our worlds history, and to see the opportunities that exist overseas.
