Campaign Story
Rosie the Riveters are about 90 years old. Rosies remember that bluebirds represented hope during World War II. It takes effort from communities to save the bluebirds, and to capture the real meaning of Rosie the Riveters for America. This project is to install bluebirds nest boxes into communities with the help of living Rosies. Benefits are to pass the Rosie legacy to Americas future generations and to save the bluebirds. By the way, the bluebird is red, white, and blue and Rosies represent the red, white, and blue of America. The Bluebirds for Rosies Project has been tested in Maryland and West Virginia. It has the help of bluebird experts from all over America. It is a hands-on project that is popular for people of all ages.
