The mission will be to take part in this event that will test the limits of Claire's mind and body, this is a personal challenge for Claire and something she has thought long and hard about doing. The race is a flat 5km course at Rother Valley on 30th April 2016 and consist of several Colour stations where things will no doubt get messy.
The Colour Dash has been a huge success over the last few years and raised many thousands of pounds for Bluebell Wood and its associated good causes. Alec and his family have on a number of occasions been supported by Bluebell Wood so these events are very important to them and all there followers.
There is currently no cure for Duchenne so Alec's muscles will continue to worsen, eventually leading to paralysis and death. With this in mind, Claire's aim will be to raise around £250 but we all hope she can exceed this target. She will also be supporting Alec's disorder and raising as much awareness as possible.
