Blood Garland – Student Film

What do we owe our families? Should we not owe our parents and siblings anything because we didn’t ask to be born? Or does the simple act of giving life to another living creature warrant respect and love from them?

Synopsis

When his grandmother, Ranee (70) passes away, Ragu (18) finds himself stuck at a funeral with his family, most of whom he hasn’t seen each other since they had their big fight. As expected, the fight from years ago rages on between family members and disrupts the funeral. Amid the chaos, Ragu comes to find that his grandmother’s body is missing. He now has to work together with his family to overcome decades worth of generational trauma in order to find his late grandmother’s body.
