February has been an exciting month for us at GoGetFunding. We began rolling out our new ‘GoGetFunding Global’ payment option and are heartened to see so many people who were previously unable to crowdfund, already raising funds with this feature.

GoGetFunding Card Payment Service Goes ‘Global’

GoGetFunding is constantly exploring different ways it can improve its features and service to its existing users, this includes investigating and trialing different ways in which it can increase accessibility to those who may struggle to gain funding due to restrictions in their country or personal circumstance.

After considerable research, testing and feedback we were delighted to be able to launch GoGetFunding Global earlier this month.

The arrival of GoGetFunding Global means that fundraisers in 14 countries, who were either previously unable to use our site (and many other crowdfunding platforms), or had limitations with it’s use, are now able to. Those countries include:

Ukraine, India, Hungary, Phillipines, Ghana, Kenya, Turkey, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, China, Serbia, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam

This amazing campaign has really captured the attention of it’s donors. They have included a video, a hashtag, eye-catching photos, created updates and even added an image to ensure donors know exactly how they can donate, resulting in over $11,000 in donations already!

 

 

Fix our Father

This campaign has combined online fundraising with offliine eventing to great effect, raising nearly £8,000 online and over £5,550 offline, proving that traditional and online fundraising are not mutually exclusive.
