Message from Sandip (CEO)

As the end of 2016 approaches, many people will already be looking forward into 2017 and planning to make changes – whether that is to their lifestyle, outlook, career or attitude.

Crowdfunding in 2016 proved to be as diverse and exciting as ever with phenomenal success stories in areas such as helping others, personal endeavour, medical costs and animal welfare.

We think 2017 is going to be even bigger – and that is why over the next 12 months you will see more of the fantastic tools and service features introduced.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful GoGetFunding Team for all their help during the last 12 months, but my biggest thanks goes to YOU for choosing GoGetFunding as your trusted online fundraising site. I hope we can continue to work together raising funds for all of your great causes in 2017!

Have a peaceful and happy festive celebration!

Campaign Highlights!

The Streatham Wine House Campaign – A perfect example of why

offering rewards really does pay off

The fundraisers for the Streatham Wine House campaign made fantastic use of the rewards feature on their campaign. In fact, one of their rewards even sold out! 77 of the 91 donors opted for a reward for their donation proving how effective this tool can be at convincing donors to donate!

Sometimes, crowdfunding produces something beautiful from a simple plea for help. This is what happened for not one, but two campaigns this month.

From Our Blog:

Pay It Forward As A New Year Resolution

The New Year is often seen as a chance to start afresh, and a celebration of new hopes and dreams. People frequently take a little time to pause and reflect on what they’ve done in their lives – and, more importantly, what they can achieve over the next twelve months.

A New Year means new opportunities and the chance to make a real difference. So this time, why not start the new year with a bang and commit to helping a loved one?

Timely Fundraising Ideas for YOU:

New Beginnings

If you’ve decided that 2017 is going to be your year of change, why not challenge yourself to a fundraising event at the same time. Here are 3 ideas:

1. Want to get fit? Enter a local fun run and raise funds for sports equipment for youngsters

2. Want to lose weight? Get together with friends and organise a sponsored weight loss challenge for poverty

3. Want to do something for family? Organise a surprise party for someone and get family involved with donations and planning.

Christmas Is Here!
