The Extra Mile Nurses

As many of you are aware, unfortunately I have been diagnosed with Lung and Brain cancer. This has come has a huge shock but I will fight this and I am determined to succeed.  I have spent a considerable amount of time in Manchester Royal Infirmary on Ward 31. Here the nursing staff and auxiliary nurses were amazing and all took a little time out of their day to ensure that I was comfortable and feeling OK after having to deal with such shocking news. What touched me the most was the staff themselves all have homes to go however, when they finished their shifts they made sure I was OK and comfy. I know this is their job but all of them "went the extra mile" and all for me which has touched me more than they could imagine. It is for this reason that I would like to give each one of them something back.  There will be various fundraising events happening which will be confirmed in the near future.  We already did amazing with the bupa run raising over £1000 for Cancer Research so I know we can do it.  I  would really appreciate it if everyone would start to donate on the page and we can get the ball rolling. If you are interested in climbing Mount Snowdon it's £30 each person to do the climb. I did it as a child and loved it so I'm hoping to get at least a 100 of us confirmed and then a nice little cupcake party at the top to celebrate. I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for your kind words and support and remember I'm still the same Sue-Ellen O'Reilly aka SUBO funny girl that you all know and will always be here for everyone.
