Our family needs a 2nd car, could you help?

The Background:
Have you ever felt God was calling you to something different, but didn't know what that was, how you were going to get there, or even what the next step is? That's where we find ourselves right now. We have recently stepped out in faith and resigned our current position as Executive Pastors of a great church to pursue whatever God has for us... Without knowing what that is... or where it is... or how to get there... And while we know God will be faithful and provide, there are a few things we need help on.

The Problem:
For the last 5 years we've been a 1 car family, living about a half mile from the church in Texas I was able to walk most days to work, and when I couldn't had access to a church vehicle to get me around. Now as I seek future ministry positions, opportunities for secular employment, etc. it has become apparent we need another vehicle. Tomorrow for instance my wife is stranded at home while I travel to Oklahoma to meet with some Pastors, so how does my daughter get home from school? And what if my son is sick tomorrow and needs to go to the doctor?

The Solution:
I'm looking for an older high mileage vehicle that still has some life in it... Nothing fancy... A car/truck/SUV that drives both forward and backward, has seatbelts, and could drive a few hours without a hickup... Not looking for pretty... looking for functional. I've been able to identify several vehicles in our area, in the $5,000 budget range and want to move forward with securing one.

So as we are seeking a new place of ministry could you help us secure a vehicle? Anything you can do would be a HUGE blessing.

Our Promise:
The money that comes in will be spent on a reasonable vehicle... not for other stuff. If we get more than $5000 we may get a slightly better vehicle. If there is money left over after purchase it will go to TTL, Inusrance, and finally to savings to cover any possible future moving expense. If we don't hit our mark, we'll still be looking into a vehicle knowing the Lord will provide.

So I was trying to think of rewards for people as a way to say thank you for helping us out... And was thinking what is one thing that would really show my gratitude if someone was really moved to give in a big way... One thing kept coming back to me and that was my good hat. This hat is probably my most prized possession, has been with me since I was in highschool, and has so many memories attached to it... It means a ton to me... But someone willing to help us in a big way would mean so much more, so I would be willing to part with my hat... You can do what you want with it, keep it, toss it, burn it... attempt to ransom it back to me once I have a job :)  anything... It would be yours...
