"The Sons of War - for children" is a charity group created in collaboration with the Brazilian photographer and film-makers Gabriel Chaim (www.gabrielchaim.com) who spends months inside Syria to document one of the most atrocious humanitarian crisis of our times. All the donations raised are used in support of the Syrian children, so dramatically affected by the meaningless war that is tearing apart the country for more than 4 years killing almost 200.000 civilians and making 3 millions people flee their houses.
Over the past year we ran a significant number of aid projects involving the distribution if food, winter clothes, blankets, charcoal, etc. to Syrian families living in the refugee camp of Bab Al Salam, in the Aleppo province and in Kilis, across the Turkish border. The Syrian conflict has just entered its 5th year and the situation for the civilians is deteriorating even further after the closure of all the borders few months ago. Children and families need help of any kind, now more than ever. We will not give up our mission, please help us to help.
