Campaign Story
Help me to graduate from HULT International Business School with a double master's degree.
My name is Johann Gouws. I recently got accepted to go to HULT International Business School. This is a dream come true for a South African. As some of you might know the unemployment rate in South Africa is between 34% - 42% of our population. This makes the job market extremely competitive and the experience that I will gain at HULT will help me to enter this market with the intention of helping other people to create job opportunities through entrepreneurship.
Since October 2019 I’ve had three jobs and due to COVID-related reasons, I’m no longer able to work at these companies. I had the opportunity to play semi-pro rugby between May 2020 and July 2021 – but after being admitted into the hospital by my Neurologist – My health has deteriorated, and my rugby career is over. This year has been difficult for my family and me.
I started my own company to show the world that I am willing to work and to add value to those around me. I’m a fighter. I will start from 0 no matter how difficult it may be
My dream is to come back to South Africa because I have always wanted to help those who are struggling in our country to create great job opportunities by means of entrepreneurship. I’ve always had this dream to help those who are struggling, the downtrodden, and the needy to get out of their circumstances and to build a life for themselves. I need your help to lead South Africans to a better place.
I received a Future Leader scholarship from HULT and an additional 10 000 USD in financial aid. I can give an additional $15 000. The total program and living costs for 18 months mount up to $70000 - and I need your help to cover some of these costs.
I need your help in the form of donations, sharing my page, and spreading the word.

Update posted by Johann Gouws at 01:00 pmBeing South African goes hand in hand with BRAAI (an improved form of open flame BBQ). I’ve been selling wood and Waitering at a restaurant called Hinterland Meat Merchant. Yesterday I made an additional $150. Bringing my offline funds raised to $809.
