Lex Michael L. Guiritan is a public school teacher at the Philippine Science High School - Caraga Region Campus in the Philippines. He is a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship (FLTA) and was hosted by the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor last 2018 - 2019. After a year from his stint in the US, his father passed away with lung cancer. A few months later, Lex was diagnosed with colon cancer having an "almost completely obstructing mass" in the colon. He had undergone colectomy and recuperated in the hospital for almost two weeks. Almost half of his colon was cut (approximately 10cm).

Lex is currently undergoing chemotherapy and now on his 3rd session. Although finding ways to fund his medical treatment, a helping hand would be very much appreciated especially that the cost of medicines and other supplements is more than what he earns every month. Recently, his sister was tested positive for COVID 19 and would need another budget for the expenses. Hence, your help would be very much appreciated.
