Parents’ Hospital Bills

My name is Jerome and my family needs your help. I started this fundraiser for my parents who have been in the hospital since April 17 due to pneumonia. My mother tested positive for COVID-19 virus and while her oxygen level has improved, she remained very weak and would sometimes experience difficulty in breathing. My father on the other hand has been showing good progress but still needs hospital care.

Just this morning (April 26), the doctor advised my mother to undergo Hemoperfusion and that she needs to be transferred to a hospital in Pampanga for the said procedure. It is disheartening to hear that my mother, who is almost 60 years old and is currently not in her best state will need to do this. It's very painful for a son to feel helpless about his parents' situation both in health and finances but I owe it to them to try and do everything for their recovery.

Our running hospital bill for my mother alone has reached half a million pesos and we could use a lot more financial help as our modest savings cannot cover the hospital bills.
