I would also like to update you with the fund raising. We are 77% of the target. Patrick had a recent blood transfusion and is advised to have further bone marrow testing. Patrick is a 31 year old, diagnosed with MDS. Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) is a rare group of bone marrow failure disorders, where the body no longer makes enough healthy, normal blood cells in the bone marrow. This has been recently diagnosed, although, he has already been on dialysis as a complication for the past two years.

A lot of the challenges from his treatment comes with financial constraints - from blood transfusions, dialysis, regular blood tests. It’s almost impossible to cope with the disease.

Any financial help you can give him will go a long way and will be deeply appreciated by him.
