Campaign Story
Calton has spent the last month in the hospital for heart surgery. His surgery couldn’t wait until after the pandemic is brought under control, nor did he have an opportunity to save money for it due to the economic conditions caused by the lock downs in Japan. Soon Cal will get out of the hospital. He has received a portion of the bill that is not covered by National Health insurance, and those expenses continue to accumulate day by day. He was admitted into the hospital on January 14, and is set to be released on Thursday, Feb. 25.
Cal is currently behind on his rent, and needs support to help cover the cost of his physical therapy and living expenses until he is able to return to work. We are expecting that achieving the campaign goal will cover these additional expenses.
Cal is grateful for the timely, successful surgery and all the messages of support received. Please contribute to his GoGet Funding campaign to aid his transition back into working life during this pandemic. Cal expects to repay this support in the future. Thank you.

Hi Calton! I enjoyed your video and am so happy to see that you're back to your old self. Have you ever heard the Japanese saying "kuchidake tassha"? If not you can ask someone. And, impressive scar! I *hope* to go to Japan in October for my aunt's 88th birthday and would love to catch up with you if it happens. Until then, wishing you a good recovery! -Yumiko
