Campaign Story
A week ago I found a little stray cat dragging itself out aside my house with two broken limbs. I took it to Riyadh shelter and they said it’ll require surgery ASAP otherwise it’s limb will have to be cut off if it gets infected or if they bone dies but they do not have the equipment for orthopaedic surgery. I then went to advance pet clinic and they again did not have the equipment so I finally went to Elite clinic. At elite they asked for a whopping 16,000 SAR or $4200!!. I am a high school student and can’t possibly pay for the surgery. Please help this cat walk again and for every donation I’ll give you daily updates on the cats progress so you can see the great cause you’ve put your money to. ❤️Please hurry

Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 05:37 amHealthcare in the US is incredibly expensive so a friend and I were trying to raise funds for a wonderful lady who works in our cafeteria at my University. She took great care of my dietary restrictions (Halal food) and overall is just a very jolly person so I owe. . . . .
First Few Steps🥳
Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 10:41 pmToday she got her stitches removed and the doctor permitted for her to begin practicing to walk on 3 legs so here’s a link to the video of her first few steps after the surgery. I will let her out for some time everyday so she can slowly begin adjusting
She’s back home🤩
Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 10:02 amShe’s home 🎊 🥳! Sadly one of her legs had to be amputated as the reaction was getting worse but we still managed to save one leg and most importantly we saved a life because if she wasn’t treated the wound would lead to a bad infection or worse. Got. . . . .
They’re still trying to stop the reaction
Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 02:01 pmThey’ve put a saline wrap around her leg in hopes of stopping the reaction and this wrap will stay on for at least 10 days. The doctors doing everything they can to save the leg.
I visited her today
Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 10:42 pmThe doctor says she’s becoming increasingly active and her appetite is impressive but the body is still rejecting the pins so she must stay hospitalised. Today Dr. Rico switched to another antibiotic in hopes of stopping the reaction and inflammation. I’ve attached the receipt of the surgery and every single. . . . .
I visited her today
Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 12:41 pmShe looks well, although she is in a lot of pain and not her usual playful self but the vet said she’s eating “a lot” which is great. They’ll keep her hospitalised for now as the plates on the left leg are being rejected by the body and are causing
Doctor’s Update
Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 07:44 am“Hello doc. Just wanna update you for APC cat. The leg with pin can able to use but the leg with plate still swollen. I removed the bandage yesterday. I think there's reaction of bone plate to the tissue. I'm still giving antibiotics and supplements. Her appetite is really good.“I’ll
She’s still hospitalised
Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 05:07 pmThey’re keeping her under observation at the clinic and is under IV to deliver antibiotics and pain medications. I’ll post pictures of her as soon as the doctors sends them my way. Again we need more funds as it was a complicated surgery due to multiple fractures which resulted in
The surgery was a success🥳🥳, we’ll get to see her tomorrow
Update posted by Shayaan Hussain at 05:58 pmToday she was admitted at APC for surgery and it was successful and she is conscious but drowsy. Since the surgery had to be done urgently as the bone was going to die, some donors were kind enough to lend me the remainder of the money so we can operate. . . . .
