We need your Helping Hands for Mark Lester Kidney Transplant

Hi everyone! I hope at this trying time everything is well to you and your family. My name is Mark Lester Gonzales, they used to call me "toktok", 33 years old and living at Muntinlupa City. I was diagnosed with stage V Chronic Kidney Disease 5 months ago and fighting against it to prevent immediate dialysis at this time.

What is Chronic Kidney Disease?

A person with stage 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD) has end stage renal disease (ESRD) with a glomerular filtration rate (GFR) of 15 ml/min or less. At this advanced stage of kidney disease, the kidneys have lost nearly all their function, and eventually dialysis or a kidney transplant is needed to live.

I am single, doesn't have job at the moment due to my illness and I am living with my parents. To give you more details my mother and father are both senior citizens and still working for our family. My mother is a street sweeper and my father is a barangay staff, they only earning below minimum but still they are finding ways to sustain my maintenance medication. I have two siblings one of them is working and one is still studying. My elder sister is the one who support my parents and I in my medication but I am fully aware that what she makes its not enough to cover her expense and my medicine.

I know that everyone of us is affected by the pandemic but I am asking for your extended hand to help me raise funds for my future Dialysis and Kidney Transplant and. I am knocking in your kind heart to help me for my current medication as my family is now struggling financially due to the amount of medicine that we need to buy and schedule injections for my body to produce red blood cell.

According to my doctor we need to raise 600,000.00 or $12,800 for the transplant plus a kidney donor. As of this moment we don't have any amount because the funds from my relatives and money from the salary of my parents only covers the everyday medication and house expense.
