Hi Friends and Wellwishers , thank you so much for all the support you would have given for the last fundraiser. I want to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who donated, who wished me well and who prayed. I am eternally grateful to you and may God continually bless you all
I completed surgery on January 21 2021 to remove the silicone based oil from my left eye. Upon returning home I started feeling ill and it was confirmed by testing that I had contracted Covid 19 so I was unable to do my first review until today March 02, 2021. So unfortunately the retina in the left eye has redetached. So it will have to be put back in place , lasered and the oil replaced. So now I have that to do that, plus saving what is left of the right eye as the pressure refuses to be controlled with the eye drops. This essentially means I will have to get an ocular shunt implanted in the right eye to control the pressure.
This is my final attempt at trying to resolve my vision issues as frustration mounts and hope fades. I currently have about 40% vision in my right which I'm going to do my best to maintain for as long as possible.
I do hope to get some support again to do this final round. So once again thank you and look forward to you gracious assistance.

Update posted by Dwight Levy at 12:39 amPlease note that Dwight's head pictures was taken via front facing camera which has the images inverted and thus shows his right eye covered not the left eye, which is the eye he completed surgery on. Also I unfortunately cut off his head😔 in photo after surgery while we waited.

I just have the perception of light right now not able to see clearly yet. Will know

I got a sinus infection and as you know once you have any illness especially respiratory during this Covid pandemic, surgery is a no go.. . . . .
