Good day community

Last September 15, my wife was admitted to the hospital due severe back pain. Initially we thought it was appendicitis, but when she went through lab tests, we found out she had a kidney stone blocking her right kidney in the ureter. We also found out that she had other stones both in her right and left kidneys. She stayed in the hospital for a week and 3 days. During her stay, she has gone through a DJ Stenting procedure on September 20. It had to be done because her right kidney was already beginning to get infected. We had to pay such a big amount of hospital bill because of COVID. Hospitals are charging so much for PPEs and swab tests. We had to pay ₱255,000 or $5,300 for hospital bills. Fortunately, we were able to raise the remaining amount that we couldn't pay at that time. However, she still has another procedure to go through which is ESWL (Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy) some time at the end of October or beginning of November. Basically its a procedure to breakdown the kidney stones so it would be able to help get out of her system. But its going to cost us another ₱200,000 or $4,125.

We only have a month left to raise funds for the procedure. Our funds have all been juiced out, our savings, our emergency funds. We currently only have ₱10,000 or $200 in our emergency funds and we are still going to be selling our assets to add up for whatever we can add up. I am currently working a full-time job and supporting still my parents and my current family, I am unable raise that amount in that span of time. My wife is currently unemployed because she is focusing on taking care of our first baby who is still 9 months old, we are just barely starting our family. She has been applying jobs online but with no luck. We are still looking to ask from private institutions here that may hopefully be able to give additional financial assistance for us. We are still not sure how much assistance they could give or if we could be granted any assistance at all since its a case to case basis.

If we won't be able to raise the funds in a month, my wife has to have her Stent replaced which is going to cost us another ₱97,000 or $2,000 because the Stent can only stay in her body for 3 months. The laser procedure has to be done before the Stent is removed.

We are hoping to ask for assistance from you with however amount you would like to donate to help us go on with my wife's procedure because she has been going through some on and off pain and we are worried that her left side kidney stone may also cause blocking some time. I don't have any other options as of the moment than seeking help from random people. This pandemic has just been hard for us as a family especially in this unexpected emergency. We are hoping for your kind consideration.

Thank you so much and may God bless you all.
