We called him Pus Eye because his eyes were completely shut with eye infection. His four siblings also had the same eye infection, but his was the worst. Seeing this picture, you probably can't imagine how he looked in early September.

There are probably about 40 to 50 cats in this colony. We started spaying and neutering them in July, and when we find sick or injured kittens like Pus Eye, we nurse them back to health so that they are adoptable.

We are just two people concerned about the welfare of the cats in the colony, and between us, we have spayed/neutered about 14 cats so far, but there are so many more!

Whatever funds we raise here will be used to take care of kittens and cats (like this fellow below who had a big gash on his leg) and spay/neuter as many cats as possible.

Thank you so much for your support. Your donation will mean a lot to us and to our colony cats.

January 2021 Updates

Update posted by Hisae Yamazaki at 04:28 am

We were able to spay/neuter seven cats from the colony during the month of December; however, because of the MCO, we were only able to spay two cats during January 2021. A litter of five kittens were rescued from the colony in early December, and we were able to find

30 November Update

Update posted by Hisae Yamazaki at 12:48 am

Thank you so much for those contributed to this cause. There seems to be sub-colonies within the colony, and we identified about 10 cats needing spaying/neutering from one particular section. We will move on to other sections once the spaying/neutering of that part of the colony is "completed" (although we

Since July 2020, we have found homes for 18 kittens from the colony and spayed/neutered 25 cats (some of them are now in their forever homes). But there are so many more to be done!
